Install LivingScene
Get the desktop app, sign in, and start your trial.
LivingScene is a desktop app for macOS, Windows, and Linux. Getting set up takes three steps: start a trial, download the app, and sign in.
1. Start your trial
Create your account at dashboard.livingscene.ai. The trial runs for 14 days and doesn't ask for a card — if you decide not to continue, it simply ends.
Your account is what the app signs in to, so it's worth doing first.
2. Download the app
Go to livingscene.ai/download. The page offers the build for whichever system you're on, and links the other two underneath.
Open the .dmg and drag LivingScene into your Applications folder.
LivingScene runs on Apple silicon — the M-series chips. It won't run on an Intel Mac. If you're not sure which you have, open the Apple menu and choose About This Mac.
Run the installer and follow the prompts.
Download the .AppImage, make it executable, and run it:
chmod +x LivingScene-*.AppImage
./LivingScene-*.AppImage3. Sign in
Open LivingScene and choose Sign in. Your browser opens so you can confirm it's you, then hands you straight back to the app. Your decks, your trial, and your subscription all follow your account.
You never need an AI key of your own. Creating with AI is included with your account — there's nothing to set up and nothing to paste in.
Staying up to date
LivingScene checks for a new version when it starts, downloads it quietly in the background, and puts it in place the next time you quit. There's nothing to click.

Your first launch opens onto a short starter deck rather than an empty screen — so the quickest way in is to change something that's already there.
