Usage analytics & privacy

What the app shares with us, what it never does, and how to turn it off.

LivingScene sends us anonymous-grade usage analytics so we can see which features help and which get in the way. Here is exactly where the line sits.

What the app shares

Feature-level events and their metadata — things like "a scene was presented" or "an AI edit ran", with timing and app-version context.

What it never shares

  • The content of your decks or scenes
  • Deck or scene titles
  • Anything you type or say to the AI
  • Your files

Scene files you share with other people also have internal identifiers stripped, so a shared file can't be tied back to your library.

How long we keep it

Raw usage events are deleted within 180 days. Only aggregate statistics — counts and trends that can't identify you — are kept longer.

If you delete your account, any events still inside that window are de-identified: the link to your account is severed. You can also ask us to erase them outright at any time — just email support@livingscene.ai.

Turning it off

Usage analytics is on by default. Turn it off any time in Settings — the switch takes effect immediately and the app respects it from then on.
