Presenting across screens

When you present, LivingScene splits across two views: the scene your audience sees, and the console only you see.

Starting

Press Present on the stage. A fullscreen window opens with your current scene in it.

If you have a second display connected, the fullscreen window opens there and your main window stays where it is. With a single display, the fullscreen window takes it over. Either way your screen won't dim or sleep while you're presenting.

Press Stop, or Esc, to end it.

Your speaker console

While you're presenting, your main window becomes the speaker console:

• Now — the scene your audience is looking at
• Next — what's coming, so you can land the transition
• Notes — your notes for the current scene
• Audience — the live session, once you start one (below)
• A running timer, and your position in the deck

Move with → or Space, back with ←. The audience window follows.

Bringing the room in

Scenes can ask your audience questions and take their answers live, from their own phones — nothing to install at their end.

The Audience section of your speaker console is where a session starts. Choose Start session, and a code and a QR appear for people to join with. As answers arrive, any scene built to show them fills in while it's on screen.

The panel tells you where things stand — how many people have answered, or, if the connection drops, that it's showing their last answers rather than pretending to be current. Your scenes keep working either way.

Choose End session when you're done.

Driving from your own phone

The same panel offers Use my phone to drive the talk — scan the second QR with your own phone and you can move through the deck from your hand rather than the keyboard. That link is single-use and expires quickly; reopen the panel for a fresh one.

A single-screen rehearsal

You don't need a projector to try any of this. With one display, presenting takes over the screen and you can step through with the keyboard — Esc brings you back.
